North MS man charged with sexual battery in multiple counties

A man in North Mississippi has been charged with sexual batter in multiple counties according to law enforcement.

The counties he was charged in are Prentiss and Alcorn.

From the Prentiss County Sheriff Department:

On June 4th 2019 Randy Lee Downs (50) of Booneville was charged with one count of Sexual Battery. Justice Court Judge Angela Pounds art his bond at $75,000.00. Deputies Tyler Reese, Brandon Slack and Aaron Stolz assisted in the investigation. Downs has since been charged in Alcorn County with a separate charge of Sexual Battery. Investigator Torie Jumper will present the case to the next Grand Jury
