Prentiss County to receive $3.5 million for emergency road and bridge repairs

Prentiss County is set to receive nearly $3.5 million for emergency road and bridge repairs according to MDOT.

The projects are:

Prentiss County Jefferson Street (Site “A” on Attached Plans) / County Road 2060 (Site “B” on Attached Plans) in the amount of $542,230.00

Prentiss County Jefferson Street (Site “A” on Attached Plans) / County Road 2060 (Site “B” on Attached Plans) in the amount of $542,230.00

Prentiss County project on County Road 1121 (Thrasher Road) in the amount of $2,415,730.00

This is part of 163 emergency projects being funded worth $250 million. Several projects are being conducted in North MS, including some in Tippah County and Alcorn County.
