Search continues for missing 75 year old Alcorn County man

The search continues for a missing Alcorn County man last seen Wednesday morning.

Wade Davis, from the Jacinto area, was last seen leaving his home walking his dog in the Jacinto area. That was at approximately 9 am Wednesday morning.

Alcorn County Second District Supervisor James Voyles posted the following to social media at that time:

We have a missing person (Wade Davis about 75)walking with his dog, from cr 372 the Jacinto area.

He lives close to the Prentiss county line. He was last seen on these roads-Cr 343, cr 376, cr 372, cr 377.

As of Thursday morning, Mr. Davis has still not been found.

Voyles gave the following update:

6:20am update:Mr Wade Davis is still missing from his home.

We have a team from several counties that specialize in search/rescue. Please continue to pray our lord will bestow wisdom on the searchers and give Mr. Davis strength.

Update! He’s still missing BUT We have the very best teams in our state out looking. They have Hounds, drones and many professionally trained search and rescue people from north state.

With the heat index over a hundred on Wednesday and Thursday, rescue teams are hoping to find Davis as soon as possible.
