Suspect Arrested for Felony Fleeing and Possession of a Stolen Vehicle

On 09-10-2022 at approximately 6:15 pm TPD attempted to stop a gray Jeep Track Hawk in the area of South Gloster and Mitchell Extended. The vehicle fled south on Gloster and onto Hwy 45 Southbound. The pursuit ended in the area of Carr Vista Road where the suspect/driver Dan Judd II (33 y/o male, Okolona MS) was captured after a brief foot chase.

Judd threw a firearm while running on foot but it was located by officers. The vehicle was determined to be stolen from the Atlanta area. A small amount of suspected Marijuana was also seized.

On 09-12-2022 Tupelo Municipal Court Judge Weir set bond at $10,000 for Felony Fleeing, and Possession of a Stolen Vehicle. This case will be presented to the Lee County Grand Jury.
