Bipartisan Lawmakers Submit Stimulus Check Bill
A $1.5 trillion coronavirus aid proposition has been submitted by a group of bipartisan lawmakers that calls themselves the Problem Solvers Caucus.
The package also brings along $500 billion for cities and states, $600 a week for unemployment, extra benefits from SNAP, and rental assistance. 25 Democrats and 25 Republican members of the House make up the group that introduces this bill.
The proposal comes after a $500 billion proposal was shot down after being pushed by Senate Republicans.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has stated that the House will not adjourn until a relief package has been passed through and approved.
