Brandi Glanville says doctors will perform exploratory facial surgery to remove suspected infection

Brandi Glanville says surgeons will remove infected tissue from her face in an exploratory operation she told listeners could help stop an infection she says has spread to her neck and spine.

Glanville, 53, told listeners on her “Brandi Glanville Unfiltered” podcast, shared Thursday, Oct. 22, that Dr. Carlo Honrado was scheduled to perform the procedure the following day and that he was “taking my face off” to perform an exploratory “power wash” under her skin, she said.

She told podcast listeners she has identified two “definite spots” that she said may be fungal balls or another living organism, and she told the host she believes the issue “moves when it wants.” Glanville said the problem began in her cheek and jawbone, moved over her head and neck, and is now down her spine.

Glanville has publicly described a series of diagnoses and treatments in recent months. In September she said she had been diagnosed with highly resistant ESBL Klebsiella and Enterobacter with biofilm, coccidioidomycosis (Valley fever), Demodex dermatitis and mononucleosis; she told Fox News Digital her treatment regimen included daily IV therapies she estimated would cost $3,300 to $6,000 per month. She previously said she believed she contracted a parasite after a 2023 visit to Morocco and that she experienced facial paralysis and an initial diagnosis of stress-induced angioedema.

Glanville told podcast listeners she was “okay” with a $5,000 fee for the planned operation, and in a separate interview with Fox News Digital said financial strain from medical bills left her having spent hundreds of thousands of dollars, emptied her 401(k) and taken work — she agreed to compete on the current season of “Special Forces” because she needed money.

On the podcast Glanville used another brief expletive-laced summation of her goals: “I just want this s— out of my body,” she said.
