New York Giants running back Cam Skattebo attempted a backflip at WWE’s Fanatics Fest on Saturday while recovering from a leg injury, attendees said.
Skattebo is a second-year player from Arizona State who missed time last season because of a leg injury, the event coverage said.
At the Fanatics Fest activation, Skattebo recreated Triple H’s entrance and walked out to Motörhead’s “The Game,” according to attendees. Witnesses said he pointed to his injured leg before attempting the backflip and that his surgically repaired right leg appeared to twist on the landing.
The event coverage also said Skattebo later kicked a field goal with his left foot during the day.
The report did not include comment from the Giants or from Skattebo’s representatives.
