Multiple Iranian officials denounced negotiations with the Trump administration on Tuesday, even as President Donald Trump characterized the talks as “productive.”
The statements came amid a push for a ceasefire in the region.
“This is the tip of the iceberg,” Saeed Jalil, the Supreme Leader’s representative to the Supreme National Security Council’s Secretariat, said, according to a translation.
It was not immediately clear which other Iranian officials had made similar comments or what steps Tehran might take next.
