Piers Morgan says Prince William ‘incandescent with anger’ at Prince Harry; William reportedly declines Diana film

Piers Morgan told Fox News Digital that Prince William is “absolutely incandescent with anger” at Prince Harry and is not expected to reunite with his brother for a potential documentary about their late mother, Princess Diana.

Morgan told Fox News Digital the brothers “don’t speak to each other and haven’t done so for years,” and said William is angry about Harry “trashing the royal family” through books, documentaries and public comments. Morgan added that “Harry took out the spray gun,” and said his sympathies are with William.

Fox News Digital reported that The Times has said the Prince of Wales will not make a film about Diana to mark the 30th anniversary of her death on Aug. 31, 2027, and that William has declined multiple offers to make or appear in documentaries about his mother.

People magazine, as cited by Fox News Digital, reported that Prince Harry is considering several projects to mark the 30th anniversary but that no documentary has been finalized or confirmed. Fox News Digital also reported that Harry has reached out to family members and friends connected to Diana.

Fox News Digital quoted royal experts who said the brothers have not been on speaking terms since 2022. The Times, as reported by Fox News Digital, also said William found his uncle Charles Spencer’s memoir “Swan Song: Diana, My Sister” difficult and noted the book is critical of King Charles III, who the outlet said is receiving treatment for an undisclosed form of cancer.

The Fox News Digital account noted William and Harry previously worked together on projects marking Diana’s 20th anniversary in 2017. The article also cited passages from Harry’s 2023 memoir “Spare” and a 2025 BBC interview in which Harry said he wanted reconciliation.

Fox News Digital said it reached out to Kensington Palace and to Archewell for comment.
