State Department report links Cuba to U.S. protests, including George Floyd demonstrations
The State Department said in a 100-page report released Monday that Cuba was linked to a range of protests in the United States, including demonstrations surrounding the 2020 murder of George Floyd.
The document alleged that beginning in the 1960s the Cuban regime “has served as the beating heart of a new and distinct kind…,” according to the report.
The report was released Monday by the State Department and outlines the department’s assessment of Cuba’s role in U.S. unrest, the document said.
