The Treasury Department intends to use Iranian assets to help Gulf allies rebuild damage from the war, CBS News reported Saturday.
CBS News cited a source it described as aware of Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent’s thinking for the report.
The report said the assets are set to be used to assist Gulf partners in recovery efforts resulting from damage attributed to Iran during the conflict, CBS News reported.
