Falkner’s new girls basketball coach Traci Hoggatt has been impressed with the hustle and positive attitude her girls have shown this summer.
“They want each other to succeed as much as they want to succeed themselves,” she said of her players defining what a team is supposed to be.
Her team this year will be young. She is working on base fundamentals with a group that is filled with underclassmen.
“We’ve has more junior high girls here for practice than high school,” Hoggatt said.
The cheers for each other during practice will grow louder as the players get a better handle on the type of play the new coach expects.
A selfless culture: cheering so hard for your teammates because you want them to succeed as much as you want yourself to succeed. Witnessed that today during practice and I have never been so proud. #LadyEagles #FalknerFamily
