Pair of Tippah County student athletes awarded NEMCC Tiger Award
A pair of Tippah County high school graduates have been awarded the NEMCC Tiger Award in their respective sports.
Ripley’s Dayzsha Rogan and Falkner’s Terrance Edgeston were both honored in an announcement by the college today.
Rogan was a womens basketball standout for the NEMCC Lady Tigers who will be playing for Jackson State after her time with the Lady Tigers while Edgeston was a defensive leader for the football program who is moving on to play football for Houston.
“The Tiger Award is given annually to a player that represents their athletic program in the highest manner off-and-on the field/court of competition,” according to the college.
