Ripley athlete in running for statewide player of the week

A Tippah County standout player is in the running for player of the week.

Ripley’s Siarra Jackson is up for the honor from the Clarion Ledger.

Jackson, among the leading girls players in the state, had a standout game against Choctaw Central at the Tangle on the Trail.

Jackson scored 33 points in a 59-41 win over Choctaw Central.
