Several Tippah county basketball players recently competed in the Grind2Shine showcase held at the Ripley event center. It was a good opportunity for players from Ripley, Pine Grove and Falkner to showcase their talent against good competition from throughout the area.
Ripley’s Asa Howard, Jesus Ruedas, Alex Prather, Cam Rucker and Kyston Dillard were joined by Falkner’s Cody Johnson and Cam Smith. Carson Rowland, a Pine Grove freshman, competed in a different evaluation group as the others. There were several Ripley middle school players in attendance as well.
All players competed well with Falkners Cam Smith in particular drawing rave reviews.
