$24,000 reward offered on murder case with Tippah ties

A $24,000 reward is being offered for information that leads to an arrest and conviction of the person responsible for a grisly murder with ties to Tippah County.

The reward is offered for information on the July 23, 1998 murder of Michael Bell. At that time, Mr. Bell was a clerk at the McKee’s Stateline Convenience Store, located on Highway 125S between Middleton and Walnut.

Bell was shot and and the suspect left the store and drove into Tippah County in a 90’s model GM sedan.

The TBI is convinced someone has information on this case and is offering the reward.
