Congratulations to a member of the Desoto County Sheriffs Department

Jeremy Dodson, Captain over the Special Investigative Department, Criminal Investigative Department, and SWAT, graduated from the highly competitive FBI National Academy in Quantico, Virginia on June 6, 2024.

The 290th session of the National Academy is internationally known for its academic excellence. The National Academy offers 10 weeks of advanced communication, leadership, and fitness training. Participants must have proven records as professionals within their agencies to attend.

Captain Dodson’s acceptance into the National Academy is a colossal honor, and with his graduation, he joins Sheriff Thomas E. Tuggle II and Chief Deputy Justin Smith, as DeSoto County Sheriff’s Office graduates of the National Academy.
