Falkner’s Founders Day Event a hit with local students from Falkner

The Falkner Heritage groups 2nd annual Founders Day Event was a big hit with local students.

On Friday, students from Falkner had food, fun, facts and giveaways.

There were several activities set up for the children to enjoy, including contemporary setups and several historical areas.

Retired Colonel Dave Childers brought water bottles to give away and gave a speech to the youth, the South Tippah choir performed and there was lots of good food on hand.

The activities continue on Saturday with live music and more in Falkner.
