Pair of Tippah towns awarded over $1 million in water improvement grants

A pair of Tippah County Towns have been the recipient of over one million dollars in grats to improve water systems.

The grants were awarded to Blue Mountain and Dumas. by the Mississippi Development Authority.

From State Representative Jody Steverson:

Today I was notified the Town of Blue Mountain had been awarded a $600,000 grant for water system improvements, and the Town of Dumas was awarded a $450,000 grant for water system improvements. Thanks to Mississippi Development Authority for their assistance in obtaining these much-needed grants for these communities.
