Felony Shoplifter Arrested by Tupelo Police Department

The Tupelo Police Department has arrested Micheal S. Jones, 42, of Randolph, on charges of felony shoplifting. On June 15, 2024, officers served a Lee County Circuit COurt Capias Warrant on Jones, related to a 2023 incident where over one-thousand dollars’ worth of merchandise was stolen from Walmart at 2270 West Main Street.

Jones is currently being held on a $50,000 bond, as set by the Lee County Circuit Court at the time the warrant was issued. The case is now awaiting trial at the Lee County Circuit Court.
