Flood advisory, risk of severe weather with damaging wind and hail

MEMA and the NWS have issued warnings for Mississippi today that include an areal flood warning, a flood watch and a marginal to slight chance of severe weather.

From MEMA:

Update from the U.S. National Weather Service (NWS) on the storm system moving through the state tonight: This storm system is bringing a few possible impacts between late tonight through tomorrow afternoon: Flash flooding possible through at least tomorrow. 2-3″ of rain expected.

Severe storms also possible late tonight into tomorrow morning. Damaging wind gusts & hail possible.

Weather related vehicle accidents have been reported already, so be safe on roadways.
