Highway patrol warns highway 72 is dangerous, some roads “solid sheet of ice”
The MHP based in New Albany is warning that Highway 72 from Benton county to Alcorn county is dangerous and some roads are “solid sheet of ice” according to a tweet from the agency at about 10 pm.
From the MHP:
Traffic Alert Please use Caution driving tonight. Troopers are on scene with several accidents on US 72 from the Benton county line to the Alcorn county line!! The bridges and some roads are solid sheets of ice!!
