Mississippi officers, narcotics agents seize 20,000 Xanax from individual

Mississippi law enforcement, including narcotic officers and sheriff deputies, working with the USPS postal inspection division, made a drug raid seizing illegal prescription drugs, marijuana, and cash according to the Lafayette county sheriffs department.

The Lafayette County Metro Narcotics Unit, along with the U.S. Postal Inspection Service, the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department, the Oxford Police Department and the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics, arrested Oxford residents Brandon Lawrence and Adrianna Amos during the raid.

The raid allegedly seized over 20,000 Xanax, 2+ pounds of marijuana and a large amount of cash.

The suspects were charged with possession of a controlled substance and subsequently bailed out.
