New Albany Police Searching for Missing 16-Year-Old Girl

NEW ALBANY – Authorities are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing teenager last seen in New Albany on Thursday evening.

Police say 16-year-old Makenzie Kepka was last spotted around 7 p.m. on August 28 on the west side of New Albany. She is originally from Florida and was traveling through the area with her parents at the time of her disappearance.

According to officials, Kepka may also go by the name “Jordan” and has reportedly told others she is 18 years old.

New Albany Police urge anyone who may have seen Makenzie or has information about her whereabouts to call 662-534-2222 immediately.
