NMPHC to host food pantry distribution Jan. 23 at Walnut Fire Department

WALNUT, Miss. — North Mississippi Primary Health Care will hold a community food pantry distribution Friday, Jan. 23, at the Walnut Fire Department.

The giveaway is scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m. and will continue until supplies are gone, according to an announcement from NMPHC. The event will take place at the Walnut Fire Department, 27880 Highway 15 in Walnut.

Organizers ask participants to enter from the back of the fire department. A limit of three families per vehicle will be enforced, and drivers are asked not to block driveways while in line.

The distribution is being held in partnership with the Mid-South Food Bank. NMPHC said the pantry is part of its focus on serving community members who need care the most but have the least access.
