Pair die in Tippah County accident, three children taken to hospital

A pair have died following a Friday morning accident in Tippah County.

The accident occured on Highway 72 in Tippah County near the Dollar General in what is locally called Fryars Bottom.

A mother and daughter have died in the accident, according to local authorities.

The names of the deceased have not been released as of press time.

The accident was a multi vehicle crash involving an 18 wheeler. It occured in the early morning of Friday, October 13th.

Three children were involved with two taken to Tippah County Hospital and a third transported to Memphis for further treatment.
