Snow/freezing rain reported in Tippah County with threat increasing until 10 pm

Snow and a wintry mix is being reported in parts of northern Tippah county with chances for more increasing throughout the day.

This is part of a series of storms producing tornadoes to the south of our coverage area and the chance for large amounts of snowfall tonight to the north.

There is a chance for snowfall accumulations tonight with the wind chill getting into the teens.

Beware of road conditions for ice. There is also a chance for high winds, so falling limbs could be a factor.
