TEPA has “extended outage” as storm knocks out multiple power poles and lines

The recent storms that have caused widespread damage is causing TEPA to experience an “extended outage”. Multiple weather spotters have describes this event to have been a tornado.

From TEPA:

We have an extended outage

East of Walnut, due to several broken poles that were downed during the recent storm. We have crews working but it will take some time to restore power.
