The Cut-Off in Ripley to Host Celebration Weekend with Live Music, Food Trucks, and Vendors

RIPLEY, Miss. – Ripley’s newest outdoor space, The Cut-Off, will officially open its doors this weekend with a full slate of activities, food, shopping, and live entertainment.

The celebration begins with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Friday, September 5, at 10:00 a.m., marking the completion of the venue located at 204 South Commerce Street. Community members are invited to attend the ceremony and be part of this milestone moment for downtown Ripley.

The excitement continues Saturday, September 6, with a Grand Celebration Event from 12:00–6:00 p.m. Visitors can expect a festive atmosphere filled with live music, food trucks, local vendors, and family-friendly fun.

Live Music Lineup

The event will feature live performances on The Cut-Off deck:

  • 12:00–3:00 p.m.Trevor Wilson
  • 3:00–6:00 p.m.Georgia Kate Conner, Edie Kay Conner, and Reese Horton

Attendees are encouraged to bring a chair or picnic blanket and enjoy an afternoon of music in Ripley’s newest gathering space.

Food + Shopping

Alongside the music, the celebration will showcase:

  • A variety of food trucks and treats
  • Arts and crafts vendors offering unique finds
  • Millie & Co., which will be open with new arrivals for shoppers

A New Space for Ripley

Organizers say the opening of The Cut-Off is just the beginning, as the venue is set to become a hub for community events, live entertainment, and downtown activity.
