According to Local Source, Tippah County Crime Stoppers and the Tupelo Police Department are seeking help from the public in solving a recent vehicle burglary and subsequent credit card fraud incident that occurred in west Tupelo on August 3, 2019.
Authorities say that a vehicle was broken into during the early morning hours, and the thief stole the victim’s debit card. The suspects used the card at a nearby gas station shortly after the break-in and later attempted to withdraw cash at a local ATM.
Community members with any information about the suspects are urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-773-TIPS (8477). Providing tips could lead to the apprehension of those responsible and help prevent future crimes in Tippah County and surrounding areas.
