North Tippah is scheduled to take the field first when the Crossroads Marching Classic begins at 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, at Warrior Stadium at Corinth High School.
Ripley High School is also listed among participating schools, according to Alcorn County News’ Friday report, which cites the Daily Corinthian. The report does not give a performance time for Ripley.
The announced lineup includes bands from North Mississippi and West Tennessee. Northeast Mississippi Community College’s band is scheduled to give an exhibition performance in the evening before awards.
The competition serves as a showcase and fundraiser for Corinth’s band program, the report says. Families seeking event details can contact Corinth High School at 662-286-1000.
