Tippah County seeks bids for 21 miles of road resealing; deadline Oct. 15
Tippah County is seeking bids to reseal 21.084 miles of roads, with proposals due Thursday, Oct. 15, at 10 a.m., according to a bid advertisement published through Cook Coggin Engineers’ planroom.
The Board of Supervisors will receive sealed proposals at the Tippah County Chancery Building, 101 East Spring Street in Ripley. Electronic bids may also be submitted through the planroom. The notice says bids will be publicly opened shortly after the deadline.
The work is identified as State Aid Project SAP-70(20)S and covers roads designated A through M in the advertisement. The notice sets a contract time of 80 working days, but does not establish a calendar completion date or a construction start date.
The solicitation is a step toward selecting a contractor, not an announcement of a contract award. The notice says any award will go to the lowest qualified bidder based on published quantities.
Contractors should consult the full bid documents for road locations and submission requirements.
