Walnut business warns of scam artist

A Walnut business was hit by a “quick change” scam artist multiple times last week according to employees of the store.

The Big Sky convenience store was hit by a scam artist who was giving $100 bills to the cashier and then distracting and confusing them to get more money back than they initially gave them.

This is a common confidence scam known as a “quick change”.

The store has his picture posted warning their cashiers and the general public about his tricks.
