Walnut to host Main Street Gospel Singing on May 2

WALNUT, Miss. — The Town of Walnut will host a Main Street Gospel Singing event on Saturday, May 2, beginning at 5 p.m. in downtown Walnut, Mayor Chase Wilbanks announced.

The event will feature an evening of gospel music, fellowship and community gathering along Main Street. Organizers are also inviting local church groups and individual singers who would like to participate in the program.

Bleachers will be available for attendees, though visitors are encouraged to bring a chair as well.

Town officials are encouraging residents to bring their families and friends for what is expected to be a community-centered evening of music and fellowship.
