NEW ALBANY, Miss. – A vehicle plowed into a martial arts studio early Monday morning, leaving the building heavily damaged and forcing the school to close temporarily.
The incident happened around 12:30 a.m. at Kinetic Kick Martial Arts in New Albany. According to the studio’s owners, they were woken by a phone call informing them that a car had struck the building.
Photographs shared from the scene show extensive damage to the facility, though no injuries have been reported at this time.
The owners announced that the school will remain closed for the rest of the week while cleanup and repairs are underway. “We are closed for the rest of the week until further notice,” the statement said.
