Strong winds and storm conditions at a large crowd of people at night is a recipe for disaster.
Last night at the popular fireworks show on the water at Pickwick, the storm destroyed multiple boats. Tree limbs fell on show watchers who didn’t or couldn’t get to safety in the crowd.
The strong winds made controlling boats nearly impossible.
Multiple eye witnesses reported injuries, canopies being torn off of boats and more.
