Police looking for man accused of multi county robbery spree

Police and mississippi wildlife officers are looking for a man accused of multiple robberies. The suspect, identified as Mark Townsend, is on foot and has not been apprehended as of this morning.

We need the public’s help. Yalobusha County Roads 212/85/86/87/222 area. We are looking for this guy in the picture. He has been on a stealing spree through 3 counties and is now on foot. Please make sure your vehicles are locked. We have numerous deputies, Mississippi Department of Wildlife units and MHP K-9’s on scene and on the way. If you see him please call 911.
