Two North Mississippi Hospitals set to end Medicare Advantage agreements at end of year

Two large North Mississippi hospitals, including North Mississippi health system in Tupelo, are set to end Medicare Advantage agreements at the end of this year according to the Mississippi Insurance Department.

This come after four hospitals have filed bankruptcy in Mississippi in the last three weeks.

“There will be more if we don’t get a handle on the problem,” said Insurance Commissioner Mike Chaney.
