A recent investigation by police in North Mississippi led to the arrest of a man on charges of sexual assault of a child under 16. The child was a resident of Prentiss County.
RESULT OF INVESTIGATION:
On 08/17/2018, the Booneville Police Department began investigating a reported sexual assault of a child under the age of 16 alleged to have occurred at a residence on Oak Street in Booneville. Investigation led to the arrest of Clinton Tyler Duran Haughton, 24 of Michie, TN. He is charged with one count of statutory rape. His bond was set at $75,000.00. This case will be presented to the next Prentiss County Grand Jury.
