Several counties in North Mississippi, including Tippah, Benton, Alcorn, Prentiss and Union, have a a hazardous weather outlook for the weekend according to the National weather service in Memphis. The outlook is for Friday evening into Sunday Morning.
According to the NWS, between Friday and Sunday there could be upwards of 4 inches of precipitation that will include rain and the possibility of snow and a wintry mix.
Temperatures will be near the freezing mark and the chance of precipitation is 100%.
