Former Walnut football product picks up offer from Rutgers

Former Walnut standout Monterio Hunt has picked up a major college football scholarship offer.

The current NWMCC standout, who currently holds an offer from Delta State, was offered by Power 5 member Rutgers, who plays in the Big 10. 

Rutgers is in the same division as Michigan, Michigan State, Penn State and Ohio State.

Hunt, who enrolled at Marshall out of high school before transferring to Northwest, is a standout wide receiver. 

Hunt has offers from Delta State and UT-Martin as well.
