70 percent chance of 2+ inches of snow for Tuesday
A large swath of North Mississippi, including Tippah, Alcorn and surrounding counties, is looking at a 70% chance of a large scale snow event for Tuesday of this upcoming week. This is part of a winter event moving across the state.
According to the NWS:
The potential for some snow accumulation will extend into parts of the South on Tuesday behind a strong cold front. At this time, the highest chances for snow accumulation currently stretch from N MS and N AL into parts of KY and TN. Stay tuned for forecast updates.
