Recall of childrens ibuprofen sold at Walmart, CVS expanded to drops—check your medicine

A nationwide recall of childrens ibuprofen products has been expanded to include oral suspension drops.

Tris Pharma is issuing the recall on certain brands that may include a higher dose of drug than recommended. This could cause vomiting, diarrhea or in rare cases to susceptible children renal failure.

CVS Health and Equate, which is sold at Walmart, are among the brand names affected.

Consumers, who may be concerned, should contact their physician or healthcare provider if they have experienced any problems that may be related to taking or using this drug product.
