NEMCC is “finalizing plans” for campus located in Ripley
According to a post from Northeast Mississippi Community college, the school is finalizing plans on the Ripley campus.
The land where the campus is to be built was cleared off in the latter parts of 2018. Plans have been in place to build in Ripley for several years, with the county having bought and transferred land to Northeast in 2016.
Officials at NEMCC, including president Ricky Ford, recently met with the architects from Pryor Morrow who are working on the plans for the campus.
The picture below showing the meeting was put out by NEMCC. No timetable on the beginning of construction was given.
