A pair of North MS men were arrested on child molestation charges recently according to the Booneville police department.

On 05/08/2019, the Booneville Police Department received a report of potential sexual abuse of a minor child. Investigation led to the arrest of Donald Rex Bishop, 60 of Booneville, for Child Molestation (Touching a Child for Lustful Purposes). His bond was set at $75,000.00. This case will be presented to the next Prentiss County grand jury.
On 02/19/2019, the Booneville Police Department received a report of potential sexual abuse of a minor child. Investigation led to the arrest of Joel Wayne Strickland, 60 of Tupelo, MS, for Child Molestation (Touching a Child for Lustful Purposes). His bond was set at $75,000.00. This case will be presented to the next Prentiss County grand jury.
