MBI issues endangered/missing child alert for north MS girl

MBI has issued an endangered/missing child alert.

From the MBI:

The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation has issued an Endangered / Missing Child Alert for 15-year-old Layla Makay Carter of Senatobia, Tate County, MS.

She is described as a white female, five feet, eight inches tall, weighing 140 pounds with shoulder length brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen Thursday, May 23, at about 5:30 a.m., in the 100 block of Evergreen Drive in Tate County, wearing a dark jacket, white shorts, and possibly carrying a pink back pack.

If anyone has information regarding the whereabouts of Layla Makay Carter contact Senatobia Police Department at 662-560-5692.
