Details released on man shot by police after car chase

Details have been released on the man shot after a police chase involving multiple police agencies.

According to a post from WCBI on Facebook:

“Authorities confirm Terry Payne is suspect who led officers on chase from Union County to Pontotoc County. Payne was fatally shot after firing at officers numerous times Officers shaken up but not physically hurt.”

An online search listed Payne as a resident of Union COunty.
