Several people were injured and one 12 year old female lost their life in a boating accident on Smith Lake.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency Marine Troopers, a boat carrying nine people were involved in an accident on Smith Lake in Winston County, Alabama.
A 14 year old boy and 12 year old girl were injured in the accident that took the life of the 12 year old girl. All occupents were from Pontotoc .
No names or specifics of the accident were released.
