Breaking: Tupelo set to issue shelter in place order and closure of nonessential business

Just hours after issuing an executive order banning groups larger than 50, Tupelo has imposed more emergency actions due to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis.

Some of the new executive orders include:

Moratorium on evictions and foreclosures.

A shelter in place order, where travel is limited to just travel to essential business and self or family care.

Some examples of essential business: banks, hospitals, grocery stores, gas stations.

Non-essential: theatres, gyms, barbers, malls, retail stores.
