Northeast Mississippi Community College is accepting early applications for its Associate Degree Nursing program, the college said. Eligible current and dual-enrolled students must apply by March 6.

Northeast Mississippi Community College said students gathered at the BSU for a Galentine’s event aimed at fellowship and support. The college said the gathering was intended to boost confidence, deepen friendships and strengthen mental health.

Northeast Mississippi Community College said its Phi Theta Kappa induction honors students’ long nights of study, leadership and commitment. The college encouraged invited students to accept membership, saying they earned it and belong.

Northeast said its Winter Guard scored 59.830 to win the Independent A division at the Mississippi Indoor Association’s Neshoba Central show. The college said a video of the season-opening performance is available on YouTube.

Students from the Honors Institute at Northeast won two first-place awards and a third-place award at the Mississippi Honors Conference hosted by Belhaven University, the college said.

Katie, a student at Northeast’s Honors Institute, is organizing a Fun Run on April 18 to raise awareness and funds for CCHS, a rare genetic disorder.

Northeast Mississippi Community College said in a social media post that students not only earn degrees and build careers but also form friendships that last beyond graduation.

Northeast Mississippi Community College said it celebrated Sophomore Night and recognized sophomore members of its cheer and pom squads, praising their dedication and impact on and off the floor.

The Diagnostic Medical Sonography Class of 2025 posted a 100% pass rate on the ARDMS abdomen registry exam, the program said on its website. Students had previously passed the ARDMS SPI exam and are now registered sonographers, the program said.
